FOUNTAINSWater is a universal element and a necessity for planet earth's and humanity's survival. The inclusion of water in aesthetic "plastic" statements, be they sculptural or simply water sprays, is an ancient practice and honored as sacred to life itself. Fountains are not always included in architectural or landscape designs due to their potential for change (degradation) and other evolutionary whims. This leads to the need for attention to adjustments on a regular basis and occasional maintenance. I tend to create fountains which are sculpture dominant as opposed to water dominant. If the water stops or is temporarily removed, the sculpture itself is not compromised or negated to any critical degree. Ideas for water treatment are endless and are only limited by imagination and experimentation. I develop prototypes and test in a "lab" setting until the ideal combination presents itself.
